Söndagen den 9 juni 2024 är det EU-val. Då röstar vi fram Sveriges representanter till Europaparlamentet för de kommande fem åren. Du kan förtidsrösta från och med den 22 maj.
Du har rösträtt till Europaparlamentet om du är:
- 18 år senast på valdagen, och
- svensk medborgare och är eller har varit folkbokförd i Sverige, eller
- är medborgare i något av EU:s medlemsländer, är folkbokförd i Sverige och har anmält dig till röstlängden senast 30 dagar före valdagen.
Röstkortet skickas till dig
Valmyndigheten skickar ut röstkort till dig som är röstberättigad. Röstkortet skickas till den adress du är folkbokförd på, och ska ha kommit fram till dig senast den 22 maj. På röstkortet står vilken vallokal du kan rösta i på valdagen och vallokalens öppettider.
Rösta på valdagen
På valdagen den 9 juni kan du rösta i den vallokal som står på ditt röstkost. Vallokalerna är öppna klockan 08.00-21.00.

Förtidsröstningen öppnar den 22 maj
Från och med den 22 maj kan du förtidsrösta. När du förtidsröstar måste du legitimera dig. Det gör du lättast genom att visa en giltig id-handling (till exempel id-kort, körkort eller pass). Saknar du giltig id-handling kan en annan vuxen med giltig id-handling intyga din identitet. Ta också med ditt röstkort.

Ambulerande röstmottagning
Om du som väljare har svårt att själv ta dig till ett röstmottagningställe på grund av sjukdom, funktionsnedsättning eller ålder kan du boka ambulerande röstmottagare. Röstmottagarna kommer då till ditt hem där du får göra iordning din röst. Kontakta valkansliet för att boka ambulerande röstmottagning via telefon, 0478-125 04.
Du kan också lämna din röst genom bud.

The European Elections 2024
Elections to the European Parliament are held throughout Sweden on Sunday 9 June 2024. Advance voting in Sweden will take place between 22 May and 9 June.
Who can vote?
You are eligible to vote if:
- you are a Swedish citizen, at least 18 years old on election day, and are or have been listed in the Swedish Population Register.
Swedish citizens who are listed in the Swedish Population Register are automatically listed on the electoral roll. If you are registered in a country other than Sweden, you need to register to the electoral roll every 10 years. A person who has never been listed in the Swedish Population Register is not eligible to vote.
You are also eligible to vote if:
- you are a citizen of an EU country, are listed in the Swedish Population Register, and have registered to vote. You must register to vote with the County Administrative Board no later than 30 days before election day.
If you are eligible to vote, you will be sent a voting card by post. Your eligibility to vote is stated on your voting card, which also says where you can vote. If your voting card is missing, you can order a new one from the Electoral Office: telephone 0478-125 04.
Vote on election day
On election day, June 9, you can vote in the polling station listed on your voting card. The polling stations are open from 08.00 to 21.00. You can ask questions by contacting the Electoral Office: telephone 0478-125 04.
Vote in advance between 22 May and 9 June
There are also advance voting locations in Sweden. You can vote in advance at any advance voting location in the country. Advance voting in Sweden will take place between 22 May and 9 June. You must bring your voting card and your ID with you when voting in advance. Please see opening hours and places above för advance voting in Lessebo municipality.
Ambulant vote collection
Ambulant vote collection is an option available to voters who are unable to vote in advance or to come to a polling station in person – for example, due to disability, illness or old age. Lessebo municipality can arrange for vote collectors to come to your home to pick up your vote. For further information, please contact the Electoral Office: telephone 0478-125 04.
You can also cast your vote by proxy, using a courier.
